The OJO Medal

order of james oglethorpe

The NGAGA has established the National Guard Association of Georgia (NGAGA) The Order of James Oglethorpe.

The Order of James Oglethorpe honors private citizens and military patrons hereafter named “Legacy Donors” who promote the long term health of the National Guard Association of Georgia and National Guard Association of the United States (NGAUS) by donating Life Memberships to Georgia National Guard Company Grade Officers (CGOs).

The Order of James Oglethorpe is a 3-inch medallion with a red, white, and blue ribbon. The medallion is worn with dinner attire at the Annual NGAGA State Conference dinner and other NGAGA functions.

state conference riderFourth Annual Memorial Ride
Thursday, May 30, 2019

Please join members of the National Guard Association of Georgia this year as we pay tribute to all fallen service members for their ultimate sacrifice to our great Nation. The Memorial Ride is open to anyone who wishes to participate and will begin at Falcons Fury Harley Davidson, 900 Dogwood Drive, Conyers, GA 30012 at 2:30 pm, and registration begins at 12:00 pm.

Our intent is to remember our fallen heroes; increase motorcycle awareness, training, safe riding and to support the National Guard Association of Georgia

Entry Fee: $5 per rider and $5 for passengers. Register the day of the event.

Falcons Fury Harley Davidson is the location of all activities as well as the start point of the ride. There will be a safety brief, a $2 raffle, and fellowship between the riders. The ending point of the ride is the Marriott Evergreen Hotel, Stone Mountain, Georgia, the site of our State Conference.

*Note: All riders and passengers must have and wear personal protective equipment in order to participate in the ride. Riders and/or passengers that do not have personal protective equipment will not be allowed to participate.
