Our 62nd Annual NGAGA Conference will be held this year at beautiful Jekyll Island, Georgia 11-13 June 2010. This year we are conducting a joint conference with the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of Georgia (EANGGA) and the conference theme is “There is No Place Like Home" in honor of our returning deployed soldiers, airmen and their families! Exhibits, Registration, and the Saturday Business Session will take place at the Jekyll Island Convention Center. For the early arrivals, Thursday, 10 June, features a cocktail party in the Hotel Hospitality Tent from 6-9 pm. The cocktail party is open to everyone with entertainment provided by Leo Dean. A new event this year for Thursday will be "Night Golf" featuring light up golf balls. This event promises to be a hoot. Friday night events and dinner will be casual and take place at the Jekyll Oceanfront Hotel pool. Back by popular demand, are Prince Pele and the Polynesian Review returning to provide pool-side dinner music and performance. Check them out on www.princepele.com After dinner, the hospitality tent will be rocking out with the fabulous music of our own “Grapevine Band”! Saturday’s Business Session will again feature a “professional development” portion. We have invited the Governor, the NGAUS President, several legislators, and of course, military leadership to speak at this session. Our Saturday evening banquet will be formal “dress blues – mess dress” or equivalent attire (coat and tie acceptable) and will take place at the Convention Center. Wonderful entertainment has been planned for you. Sunday will feature breakfast breakout sessions for our retirees, company grade officers, and warrant officers. Child care will be available throughout the weekend – see Childcare Information link above. You may also note on the hotel listings we have a new hotel this year – the Hampton Inn and Suites.
